Sea glass begins as bottles and glass that is discarded into the ocean and are refined by the natural phenomena of the sea. Nature's force of the waves and currents breaks, tumbles and polishes these pieces into the beautiful sea gems. This refining period can take anywhere from 7-20 years to produce its smooth and frosty appearance.
